Bhandarkar unveils first look of 'Jail' at IIFA

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar promises another gritty, hard-hitting story with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mugdha Godse starrer 'Jail', as the first look of the film was unveiled in Macau on Friday.
The film is the story of an ordinary man, Parag Dixit (Niel), who lands up in prison due to a series of unfortunate events around him. The story progresses as Parag's life intertwines with the rest of the inmates.
"It was very difficult for me to move from a big budget glamorous film like 'Fashion' to a small budget movie. The film takes you on a journey inside the jails of India," Bhandarkar said at a press conference.
The filmmaker who has won three National awards for his films 'Chandni Bar', 'Page-3' and 'Traffic Signal', is attending the IIFA awards along with the lead pair to promote the film.
"I had to go through a lot of mental preparation for the character as I am still new and have not learned the art of switching on and off," said Niel adding that he considered himself lucky to be getting intense roles in the beginning of his career.
